Valeria Merlo

Professor of Economics

 

Valeria Merlo holds the Chair of International Economics and International Taxation at the University of Tuebingen and is a research fellow at CESifo, Co-Editor of the German Economic Review and Member of the International Economics and Public Economics Committee of the German Economics Association. She was also part of the founding team of the Research School of International Taxation (RSIT). Professor Dr. Merlo earned her PhD from LMU Munich and has held academic positions at ETH Zurich before she joined the University of Tuebingen in 2016.
