At the information desk in the Ammerbau you can borrow various charging cables for use within the University Library (each with a power supply unit):

• USB-C*
• Lightning (Apple)*
• Micro-USB
• Universal laptop charging cable (with adapters for almost all laptop models)

*These charging cables can also be borrowed at the desk of the Circulation Center and at the Branch Library Nature Sciences.

The charging cables can only be used in the buildings of the University Library. The charging cables must be returned to the information desk in the Ammerbau. After 6:30 pm, the cables can be returned at the loan desk.

Use of the charging cables is at your own risk. The University Library is not liable for damage to electronic devices or loss of data. By borrowing the charging cables, you agree to these conditions.

Important:

The laptop charging cable will only be issued if there is a sticker on the underside of your laptop indicating the required volt strength (15 volts or 19 volts). Please always check that the correct voltage is set on the power supply unit before use.

Caution: Too high a voltage can cause irreparable damage to your device!
