Akademisches Profil

Seit Februar 2024 bin ich als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Postdoc) am Ludwig-Uhland-Institut an der Universität Tübingen tätig. Im Rahmen des Projekts „Hybrid Epistemic Practices: Generative Artificial Intelligence and the Transformation of Academic Assemblages in the Qualitative Social Sciences and Humanities“ untersuche ich ethnografisch, wie generative KI-Systeme Forschungspraktiken und Forschungskulturen in den Sozial-und Geisteswissenschaften transformieren und neu gestalten. Meine aktuelle Forschung fokussiert dabei auf die konzeptionelle und empirische Untersuchung von AI Assemblages an der Universität Tübingen. Allgemein interessiere ich mich für wissenschaftsphilosophische Fragestellungen, Science and Technology Studies (STS) und die Geschichte der empirischen Sozialforschung.

Nach meinem Bachelorstudium an der Katholischen Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt absolvierte ich einen MA in „Philosophy and Sociology of Science“ an der University of Exeter und einen MSc in „Philosophy of the Social Sciences“ an der London School of Economics and Political Science. Von 2020 bis 2023 promovierte ich unter Betreuung von Prof. Dr. Linsey McGoey und Prof. Dr. Nick Allum an der University of Essex mit einer Arbeit zur Soziologie der Meinungsforschung mit dem Titel „Polling, Power and Legitimacy: The Politics of Representation and the Making of Publics“. Während meiner Promotion war ich zudem als Lehrbeauftragter an der Hessischen Hochschule für öffentliches Management und Sicherheit (HöMS) tätig.
