Workshops

An overview of all training courses with registration options is available on ALMA. Some of our workshops are also available in the Self Study Portal of the University Library.

Members of the University of Tübingen are given priority when registering for courses. If there are still places available three days before the course, external interested parties can register for the course (please send an email to information@ub.uni-tuebingen.de). However, even after this registration there is no guarantee of admission to the course.

By completing four of our workshops, tours and/or self-study modules, you can earn 1 Credit Point through the “Transdisciplinary Course Program”. Eligible offerings are marked with an asterisk (*) in the following list.

Once you have completed all four courses based on these attendance confirmations, we will issue you a credit point.

This course will give you an introduction to literature research with AI. What AI tools are designed for literature research? What functions do they have, what fields of research are they suited for, and which of them already deliver quite good results?We will also discuss various aspects that need to be considered when using these AI tools (data protection, good scientific practice, etc.).
