The Authors Database makes the renowned standard works German Literature of the Middle Ages, German Humanism 1480–1520, Early Modern Germany 1520–1620, Early Modern Germany 1620–1720 (forthcoming), and the Killy Literary Lexicon systematically accessible in electronic form for the first time.
Over 20,000 encyclopedia entries on authors of German literature from its beginnings to the present have been linked together in the Online Reference and can be searched for specific content using detailed search criteria. In ongoing updates, the content of the Online Reference covering the Middle Ages is being revised and supplemented with a large number of current bibliographic references, which are linked to the library’s holdings.
