Outreach Group

Blog Group

Welcome to the Korean Studies Student Council Blog Working Group! We write articles about studying Korean Studies in Tübingen. We try to find topics that could be useful for both our students and prospective students. Currently, our group consists of four people, and anyone can freely choose the topics for the blog. We hope you find our articles helpful.

Film Group

Finance Group

We, the Finance Group, are responsible for providing our Korean Studies students with small comforts and treats.
This includes:

  • Drinks and equipment for our parties

  • Korean Studies merchandise

  • Snacks for movie nights

  • Snacks for other events (e.g. Mobility Fair, university open days, etc.)

In addition, we are also working on finding sponsors for our Student Association. Unfortunately, we do not have any yet — but we’re on it!

Social Media Group

The Instagram Group is mainly responsible for posting course announcements, job offers, activities (such as movie nights, regular meet-ups, or Halloween events), and general information on Instagram.

From time to time, we also collaborate with universities in Korea. These collaborations are primarily coordinated by the group leader, who discusses everything with the team and members of the department.
There is a leader and a co-leader. They receive the information, and then group members take turns posting it online.

Recently, we’ve also started creating videos — such as sketches, introductions, and trending content — which we upload to Instagram and TikTok.

So if you’re creative, active on social media, or enjoy video editing, this is the perfect group for you!

Event Group

Social Meetup Group

The Stammtisch Group organizes a bar evening once a month during the semester — a total of four times per semester — for Korean Studies students of all academic years, as well as for Korean exchange students.

These so-called Stammtische are meant to help participants make new connections, engage in conversation, and build intercultural friendships. Above all, they are cheerful social gatherings where people eat, drink, chat, laugh, and play games together.

The group members’ tasks include setting the dates, creating a registration survey and an Instagram post, making reservations at the bar, and serving as contact persons during the Stammtisch events.
To plan these events, the group meets regularly to discuss updates and important notes.

The next Stammtisch is planned for November 20, 2025. More information will be published next week.
