About

Geanina Butiseacă is currently responsable for the paleoclimate reconstruction from Marathousa (Megalopolis), Greece. She has a primary formation as a geologist and she uses biomarkers and stable isotopes as main tools for decoding past climates, both historicaly and deep time. Prior to accademia she has activated for six years in the oil and gas industry as an exploration geologist. Besides paleoclimatology, she is also fascinated about the link between societies evolution and natural resources/geographical constraints.
