StopTrik 2022 in Retrospective
The Institute of Media Studies at the festival
With its 12th edition, StopTrik celebrated stop-motion animation, strengthened the critical reception of animation and encouraged audiences to follow the program with humanistic curiosity.
The Institute of Media Studies was represented at the festival by the RHET AI Center and the Research Center for Animation and Emerging Media. Besides Dr. Erwin Feyersinger's lecture about the permanent change of animation studies and the impact of artificial intelligence on the landscape of animation, Naima Alam curated the animation film exhibition RETROSPECTIVE II: THERE'S ALWAYS ANOTHER SIDE.
