Student Assistants (m/f/d) for Science Communication & Public Engagement
from 01.12.2024 or later for at least 40 hours/month
Our mission:
Understanding and optimizing education: The LEAD Graduate School & Research Network at the University of Tübingen and the Hector Research Institute of Education Sciences and Psychology address questions of empirical educational research. We are looking for your support in communicating our scientific topics to our target groups.
Your mission:
You support the continuous and strategic creation and implementation of the editorial calendar for different channels and print products. For example, you will help to write posts, create graphics and upload content to the website.
- You will help to place our topics in the media and answer press inquiries.
- You support the maintenance of our press network.
- You take part in editorial meetings, contribute ideas and provide feedback.
- You support keeping our homepage up to date.
Your profile:
- Affinity for journalistic topics, public relations, media.
- Excellent speaking and writing skills in English and German.
- Interested in the topic of education sciences and the transfer of scientific insights to the public sector
- Ideally, knowledge of relevant programs (Adobe CC, Canva, CMS Systems).
You will take on a wide range of tasks and do not have to be able to do everything from the start – according to your knowledge, skills and experiences. Much more important is your willingness to learn and to complete your tasks reliably and with high quality.

The position is initially limited to six months. Continued employment is planned. The place of work is Tübingen, but home office is partly possible.
