T-IES Winter School 2027

The day of arrival is Monday, January 4, 2027

Registration takes place from 10 am to 6 pm.

Participants who arrive earlier have to organize private accommodation themselves. Participants who plan to arrive before 10 am or after 6 pm have to inform the organisation team at least two weeks in advance.

After your arrival in Tübingen please come directly to the Registration Office. The address of the Registration Office is: Wilhelmstr. 9, Room 007, 72074 Tübingen.

How to get to Tübingen

Arrival by plane

Destination airport: Stuttgart

• Follow the signs for the central bus station.
• Take the bus number 828 to Tübingen.
• Get off at Tübingen main station (last stop).
• The trip lasts 1 hour and costs about 6 Euros. Bus tickets can be purchased on the bus.

Destination airport: Frankfurt/ Main

• Follow the signs for the train station.
• Buy a train ticket to Tübingen in the Travel Center (about 3 hours and 70 Euros).
• There is no direct connection to Tübingen. You must change trains depending on your connection.
• Get off at Tübingen main station.

Destination airport: Munich

• Follow the signs for the train station.
• Take the S-Bahn S1 or S8 to Munich train station (about 45 minutes).
• Buy a train ticket to Tübingen in the Travel Center (about 4 hours and 60 Euros).
• There is no direct connection to Tübingen. You must change trains depending on your connection.

Arrival by train

For train connections to Tübingen main station ("Hauptbahnhof") please visit the website of the German railway company "Deutsche Bahn". Tickets can be purchased at the Travel Center ("Reisezentrum"), at a ticket machine or online.
