TÜ-VIP is our online short-term program here at the University of Tübingen. T-IES is our on-site short-term program. Continue your journey with T-IES! If you complete a ten-week course with TÜ-VIP you will automatically qualify for the chance of a free place in either a T-IES summer or winter school* here in beautiful Tübingen (worth 1,950 €)!

For your chance of being offered this unique place in a T-IES Summer or Winter School, TÜ-VIP participants must:
Successfully complete a TÜ-VIP course (participants can miss no more than two lessons).
Receive a grad of 2,0 or above.
Be enrolled as a Bachelor student at a partner university of the University of Tübingen.
Send the TÜ-VIP Team a Letter of Recommendation (within two weeks of the TÜ-VIP program ending) from their home university. This should be one A4 page and must explain why you are suitable for participation in a T-IES Winter/Summer School. This can include academic achievements, social commitment, etc. Ideally, the letter should be written by a person from the department in which you are studying.
Once the program ends, one successful candidate will be carefully chosen by the TÜ-VIP Team and notified per Email.

The international summer course at the University of Tübingen combines four weeks of intensive, communicative German lessons at the language levels A2-C1 with a varied leisure program. If you complete a ten-week course with TÜ-VIP you will automatically qualify for the chance of a free place in our language school here in beautiful Tübingen (worth 1,280 €)!

For your chance of being offered this unique place in our International Summer Course, TÜ-VIP participants must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have a completed A2 language level. At least 200 hours of language instruction is required. There is no class for absolute beginners.
Successfully complete a TÜ-VIP course (participants can miss no more than two lessons).
Receive a grade of 2,0 or above.
Be enrolled as a Bachelor student at a partner university of the University of Tübingen.
