Course information A1.1

for exchange/Erasmus students/ English BA students

The A1.1 classes are free of charge for exchange students.
One class lasts one semester.
summer term 2026: April 13 - July 25, 2026
winter term 2026/27: October 12, 2026 - February 6, 2027
You can take one class per semester.
It is not possible to take two classes on different levels at the same time. (e.g. A1.1/A1.2)
It is not possible to participate only one day per week.
You can get 6 credits for each class. (requirements: no more than 3 absences, 2 tests)

You do not need to take a placement test. 

Step 1: Pre-registration

Please fill in the pre-registration form below between October 8 - October 14, 2026 10 am
The pre-registration form will be available here on this site from October 8 - October 14, 2026 10 am
After you have filled in the form we will check your status and upload your level to alma.
This can take up to 24 hours.
We will send you an email, once your level is uploaded on alma.

Step 2: Registration on alma

After you have received the mail, go to alma during the registration period (October 8 - October 14) and register for your class.   
You will see on alma by Friday, October 16, if you have a place in the class.  
Please note: alma does not work on a first come first served basis. Places are distributed randomly via alma, regardless of the registration date & time.
Classes start from Monday, October 26, 2026
