Project compares student mobility in Norway and Germany

Dr. Nicole Tieben was awarded funding from the program of the German Research Foundation (DFG) <link http: www.dfg.de en research_funding programmes international_cooperation initiation_international_collaboration in_brief index.html external-link-new-window external link in new>"Initiation of International Collaboration". In her project "Student Mobility in Higher Education in Norway and Germany: How Admission Policies Affect Transfers in Two National Education Systems" Tieben collaborates with Dr. Elisabeth Hovdhaugen from the Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education (NIFU) in Oslo. The German Research Foundation provides 7.000 Euros for mutual lab visits; Tieben will visit Oslo for three weeks in February.
