The talk will be given by Prof. Jane Buikstra, an anthropologist whose extraordinary research has essentially defined the field of Bioarchaeology. Prof. Buikstra is giving this talk in the framework of her virtual fellowship with our DFG Center "Words, Bones, Genes, Tools" and our collaborative project focusing on human remains from Archaic Athens (Phaleron cemetery).
