Starting from drag as a performative practice, "University in Drag" queers the university as a space shaped by conventional archival logics. Instead of understanding the archive as something fixed, the project approaches it as something that emerges in the moment of performance.
The project brings together testimonials from different contexts and perspectives on drag as a practice that creates queer community and counter-spaces. Through performative readings and multimedia elements, the event itself becomes an embodied queer counter-archive.
