Science with and for Society
Description
Based on the three strategic priorities Open Innovation, Open Science, Open to the World, which EU Research Commissioner Moedas formulated in 2015, far-reaching changes in research and innovation processes result from citizen participation as well as from digital upheavals. The program takes this into account through the following strategic directions:
Program lines:
- Accelerating institutional change and getting it started
- Gender equality in research and innovation policy
- Building the territorial dimension of SwafS partnerships*
- Research and support of citizen participation in science
- Building a knowledge base for SwafS *
*SwafS = Science with and for Society.

- Research and Innovation Action (RIA)
- Innovation Action (IA)
- Coordination and Support Action (CSA)

Important: Please be sure to pay attention to the specifications of the individual call for proposals: they are arranged under the aspects of Specific Challenge, Scope, Expected Impact and Type of Action.
