Division II – Research is responsible for the University’s research and excellence strategy. We are also a central contact point for national and international researchers seeking information on funding programs, business liaisons, patents and startups.
We advise researchers on funding programs, applying for grants and eligibility for research awards.
We offer advice and support to researchers in matters pertaining to patents and founding businesses and we promote cooperation with industry and other research institutions.
We coordinate the implementation and further development of the Excellence Strategy at the University.
We support international researchers who are guests at the University of Tübingen and assist them before and during their stay.
