University of Tübingen: Research Excellence as well as Excellent Teaching!

We want to enable our graduates to act responsibly in an increasingly complex, globalized and interconnected world.

In order to develop sustainable and value-oriented solutions for the major ecological and societal issues of our time, topics such as global awareness, internationalization, dealing with diversity and digitalization as well as acquiring the corresponding competences are of central importance.

At the University of Tübingen, excellent teaching has to meet the challenges of the 21st century; therefore, its courses of study consist of a variety of teaching and learning formats. These further the students' personality development / formation and are the basis for the successful completion of their studies. In addition, we aim at empowering students to responsibly face the challenges of their studies and actively contribute to shaping the university as well as society.
