On this page, you will find descriptions of the University of Tübingen’s partner universities in Africa where students can study abroad. Any special features, course restrictions, and specific requirements of the partner universities are noted for each institution.
For English-speaking universities, an Institutional TOEFL score of at least 550 or an IBT score of at least 79 is generally sufficient.
Places are not available at all universities every year, and the number of places can vary significantly from year to year. However, this is not determined until after the application deadline. Therefore, please indicate your preferred choices when applying.
It's not always easy: Business administration and master's students
Access to graduate courses—that is, master’s-level courses—is more difficult for exchange students, particularly in the field of business administration. There are very few spots available! Even at the undergraduate level (bachelor’s), there are only a limited number of spots in business administration. Undergraduate students in other fields, on the other hand, are easier to place.
If you have questions regarding the recognition of credits for courses taken abroad, please contact your academic advisor or the registrar’s office responsible for your program.
