Applications to Federal Ministries are generally submitted in a two-stage process via the easy-online portal. Please note that, formally, the university – and not the principal investigator – is the applicant. You will therefore need the signature or approval of an authorised representative of the university by the time you submit the full application at the latest. Please contact the Research Support as early as possible.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports students, graduates, doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, university lecturers and alumni in Germany and abroad. In addition, the organisation’s funding program extends to guest lectureships, university partnerships, student exchanges and much more.
For all programs that contain research components (strategic partnerships, thematic networks or postdoctoral programs), please contact the Research Support:
The Academies’ Programme supports long-term basic research in the humanities to explore cultural heritage, to make it accessible and highlight its relevance in the present and to preserve it for the future. The application process is coordinated by the regional academies (for Tübingen, The Heidelberg Academy of Sciences), while the overall program is coordinated by the Union of German Academies of Sciences and Humanities (UA).
All researchers in Germany holding tenured positions are eligible to apply.
