Courses within the “Equitable and Just Digital Society” micro-programme
The postgraduate micro-programme “Equitable and Just Digital Society: Developing Interdisciplinary Skills and Knowledge” focuses on the social challenges of digital and technological transformations. In different modules, students will develop critical knowledge and practical skills to become interactional experts in research for an equitable and just digital society. Two online courses are currently open for application:
“Digital Society: Addressing Issues of Equity and Justice”
This course examines how digital technologies shape society, highlighting inequalities and justice in digital contexts. You analyse power in digital systems affecting work, health, welfare, identity, and participation, while developing interdisciplinary skills to integrate technical, social, cultural, and policy perspectives. "Digital Media, Social Participation and Life-Long Learning"
Digital technologies are not neutral tools but "techno-social devices" that actively assemble and reorganize social activity structures. This module examines how these devices function as learning environments that transcend the traditional boundaries of time and space. The course adopts an expanded view of education as a life-long and life-wide process that occurs across formal, non-formal, and informal settings. Get all the details and apply by 31 October!

Would you like to learn together with other students from across Europe? The Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) combine online teaching with a study week abroad. “CIVIS Dance Lab”: Apply now, travel, dance!
Do you enjoy dancing or are you interested in choreography and creative collaboration? Then join the CIVIS Dance Lab 2027 at the University of Tübingen! From 10th to 16th May 2027, you will have the opportunity to take part in a unique international dance project together with dancers from CIVIS partner universities. Rather than learning an existing choreography, you will bring your own movement experiences, ideas, and cultural perspectives to the project. Together, participants will create an original artistic performance, supported by professional dance practitioners, while exploring different dance traditions and cultural backgrounds through creative exchange.
