What happens in hospital? What does it even look like there? To take some of the excitement out of a hospital visit for children, the Hilfe für Kranke Kinder foundation at the Tübingen Children's Hospital has developed an app (iOS/Android) together with the ZFM - based on the photo book Pauline in der Kinderklinik.

Children can act out numerous situations and experience the paediatric clinic up close in 360°. They accompany the little virtual patient Pauline from registration through various examinations such as X-rays and blood pressure measurements to the playroom on the ward. On the way, they can explore the rooms and look for collection cards. In a playful way, they learn what a day in hospital looks like and what awaits them there.
