Meet companies from the Tübingen region in person. In 10-minute conversations, small groups of two or three students have the opportunity to speak directly with companies about internships, working student positions, and thesis opportunities. Informal, straightforward, and easy to join.

• A motivational statement (approx. 200 words) explaining why you would like to participate, what you hope to gain, and how the event supports your career goals.

Applicants will be pre-selected based on their field of study and German language skills to ensure a good match with participating companies. Registrations from students with a STEM background will be prioritized.

There are only 25-30 spots available, so sign up early to secure your place!

As part of our Career Service offers, we organize excursions to career fairs and congresses in the Stuttgart region - a great opportunity to explore future employers, industry trends, and career paths in a hands-on setting. Each excursion brings together students, experts, and companies.

The tekom trade show in Stuttgart is the world’s largest trade show for technical communication and Europe’s largest conference on this topic, featuring the tekom Annual Conference. At the tekom trade show in Stuttgart, you’ll gain practical insights into the latest technical developments. You can also visit the showrooms of international exhibitors at the technical communication trade show, obtain valuable information about products and services, and attend presentations.

Open to all study fields – as long as you’re curious about working in a field where technical communication is being used. This includes industries such as: ICT, Software Solutions, Business Services, and many more.

Language: B1 German required. If you have lower German skills, you can still sign up! If this is the case, UT Career Advisor Inga van Gessel, will reach out to you after the application deadline to do a short in-person language check to see if participation is possible.

These company visits give international students the opportunity to gain first-hand insights into German companies. They provide a closer look at different departments, everyday working life, and company culture while helping students better understand the German labour market.

The 1st online "International Alumni Talk" format took place in cooperation with the University of Stuttgart and the University of Hohenheim on July 8, 2026.

Event format organized by the Faculty of Science, in which STEM students get to know regional companies from the fields of technology, natural sciences, and industry.
