Public Keynote from Prof. Dr. Margit Sutrop: „Can Discussion Games Help Us Navigate Value-Based Disagreements?“

On Thursday, July 9, at 10:00 a.m., Prof. Dr. Margit Sutrop will deliver a keynote lecture titled “Can Discussion Games Help Us Navigate Value-Based Disagreements?” in the Ernst von Sieglin Lecture Hall. We cordially invite all members of the University of Tübingen to attend her lecture.

Margit Sutrop is Professor of Practical Philosophy and founding Director of the interdisciplinary Centre for Ethics at the University of Tartu, Estonia. She is a Member of Academia Europaea and has twice been elected to the Estonian Parliament. Her research focuses on practical philosophy, ethics, and political philosophy, with particular interests in moral disagreement, values, trust, AI ethics, philosophy of education, bioethics, research ethics, and values education. Her recent work explores the ethical implications of emerging technologies and the conditions for responsible public deliberation in pluralistic societies.
