Children's Sports Week from August 3rd to August 7th 2026

Registration: April 23–30, 2026, via the university sports booking portal on a “first come, first served” basis. Cost: €30 per child per week (including a vegetarian lunch).

From August 3rd to August 7th 2026 there will be another Children's Sports Week - all about exercise, excitement, and lots of fun! The Institute of Sports Science, in collaboration with Team Equity-Care, invites children of students and staff aged 7 to 10 to the fourth annual Children’s Sports Week—and this year, we’re going on a trip around the world together.

Under the theme “World Tour,” the children will spend five days playfully discovering sports from different countries and cultures. From fast-paced running events to exciting team games and creative movement activities—every day brings a new athletic adventure.

The Children’s Sports Week is organized and run by sports students as part of a seminar where Dr. Jannika John is in charge - together with her team of 23 students - she ensures professional supervision daily from 9 am to approximately 2 pm and, above all, provides plenty of motivation.

Our goal is clear: children should experience the joy of movement, try out new sports, and develop self-confidence through playing together. Fairness, team spirit, and fun are always at the center of our activities.

Students and staff may register their own children aged 7 to 10.
