From the Museum into Everyday Life

The co-creation team is taking the dialogue about HIV into places where it is not yet taking place.

How can we talk about HIV in companies, rural areas, and medical practices in a way that reduces stigma? Building on the successful exhibition “Sprechen über HIV” (Talking about HIV) at the City Museum, the co-creation team continues to explore this question – and plans to take the exhibition on tour. The interactive exhibition remains open until November 2026.

A "Science Cocktail Night" on the topic was held outside the City Museum on July 3, 2026, supported by students in Media Studies. Over cocktails or non-alcoholic drinks, the evening featured conversations with researchers and people living with HIV, a reading by Torsten Poggenpohl from his book “einfach!ch: schwul.bipolar.positiv.”, a quiz, an information booth from Aidshilfe Tübingen-Reutlingen e.V., and guided tours of the exhibition.
