Politics on 13 Square Metres: The results
What topics are on the minds of the citizens of Tübingen? We are having a look on the results.
The mobile installation “Politics on 13 Square Metres” allowed the citizens of Tübingen to discuss social and political topics. Despite the heat, 574 conversation cards were created. The topics that were most talked about where heat/climate/green city, public transport, cohesion and polarisation, social events/poverty/pension. These topics each made up 16 to 19 percent of answers. Further topics were participation and administration, places of encounter and culture, work and economics, living situation and rent, movement towards the right and AfD, kids/youth/family, as well as traffic by bike and foot. Between nine and twelve percent of answers fell in this areas. The main goal of the event was to invite discussions on social and political topics and to offer a different kind of space for communication.
