The transfer of scientific results into the wider public is a major task for large collaborative research groups. The aim of this project is to introduce the main themes of SFB 1070 ResourceCultures about the relationship of resources and cultural dynamics into the current public discussion. This is done by using a wide variety of media and formats: public lectures, articles in newspapers and magazines as well as radio and TV broadcasts, contributions to the ‘Children’s University’ and project days at schools in Tübingen. We are present in social media and make our appearance in other web-based forms of communication. As a recent addition we prepare online exhibitions in order to visualise and explain the complex results of the projects of SFB 1070. In general the press relations are done in close collaboration with the Public Relations Department of Tübingen University.
