Faculty Mobility Program
Overview:
The state-to-state higher education partnership between Oregon and Baden-Württemberg was established in 1968. The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and Arts’ Faculty Mobility Grant program is intended to help seed research collaborations between faculty, strengthen relationships, and expand partnership activity between the two states.

Grant recipients are expected to include some promotional activity for the student exchange programs during their travel to the host institution. The respective coordinating offices in Oregon “IE3 Global” at Oregon State University and in Baden-Württemberg at “Oregon Study Center” at the University of Tübingen are best positioned to support the discussion of ideas for increasing student participation in the exchange program.

Review and Timeline:
Applications will be reviewed by a committee with representation from Baden-Württemberg and Oregon. Applicants will be notified of a decision latest by the end of December 2026.
