Application procedure

The application procedure is at a low threshold. An application for funding is submitted using the respective form.

A jury consisting of representatives from Divisions II and III and two students will decide on the projects’ funding.

All applications received are assessed on the basis of standardized criteria. In addition to a clear reference to the topic of the call, the application should clearly state the extent to which the project fulfils the funding criteria of innovation, sustainability, transparency and verifiability.

Overview of the 2025/26 Funding Cycle

02. Dec. 2024 - 10. Feb. 2025

Call for proposals and application phase 2025/26

During this period, project proposals addressing the thematic focus “Scientific skills through research-based learning” may be submitted.

24. March 2025

Start of funding 2025/26

This date marks the earliest possible start of the funding period. Projects may also commence at a later stage. Please note, however, that the funding will end no later than the end of March of the following year.
