• A very good level of Spanish is essential for studying at the UCA. For this reason, a placement test is conducted at the beginning of the semester. Students who do not reach the required level must take a language course at the university or another local institution. The semester program “Spanish as a Second Language” takes place twice a week. Exchange students receive a discount on the course fee.

• A language level B2 according to the European Framework of Reference is required. A placement test takes place at the beginning of the semester. If the required Spanish level is not reached, a Spanish course must be taken during the course of study for a fee. The Spanish test and the fee-based course can be avoided if you can provide proof of the required level with a DAAD language certificate or DELE.
