Individual coaching for Postdocs, Junior research group leaders, Assistant professors and Research groups
The Graduate Academy offers individual coaching for all postdocs, junior research group leaders and assistant professors with external, certified coaches. The aim of this offer is to support postdocs, junior research group leaders, assistant professors and research groups in the best possible way in improving their research performance, e.g. through presentation coaching in front of review committees. In addition, they receive individual opportunities for reflection on topics such as career planning, leadership tasks, communication skills, team competence or self-management.
Our Coaches
We offer a variety of coaches with different areas of specialization. These cover topics such as self- and time management, project management, research projects, presentation techniques, conflict management and others. We are happy to find out which coach fits best to you and your concerns.
Coaching is possible in presence, as well as by telephone or video telephony. We can offer coaching sessions in German, English, French and Spanish.
Requirements and registration
If you are interested in a coaching session, please register by filling in the form below. We will check your request and after receiving the acceptance from our side, we will suggest two coaches with whom you can arrange the appointments individually. We will cover the costs of a total of maximum 180 minutes of coaching sessions (3 sessions of 60 minutes each or 2 sessions of 90 minutes each).
The prerequisite for participation in individual coaching is that you belong to the target group of postdocs, junior research group leaders, junior professors with a fixed-term employment contract as well as research groups at the University of Tübingen and that you participate in the evaluation of the individual coaching offer.
Your name and the contents of the coaching will of course be treated confidentially by us and will not be passed on to third parties.
