Forms and Applications
a) Forms and applications for international students
Forms:
- Information Form for International Students, e.g. new exception for students with a residence permit according to § 36a Aufenthaltsgesetz (Family reunification with beneficiaries of subsidiary protection). See information form for details.
- Formular über Berufstätigkeit (DE) (This employment verification form is an addendum to the "Information Form for International Students")
Applications:
- Application for exemption from the tuition fee as a holder of a permission to reside according to § 55 paragraph (1) Asylgesetz (New country list since March 2024)
- Application for exemption from the tuition fee due to a medical internship/ other internship (New application form since March 2024)
- Application for exemption from the tuition fee due to disability
- Application for an exemption from the tuition fee because of an academic leave of absence (Attention: A tuition fee exemption because of an academic leave of absence is only possible, if your application for an academic leave of absence is approved and was received by student administration before the beginning of the lecture period.)
- Application for refund of tuition fee / administration fee
According to Landeshochschulgebührengesetz applications for an exemption from the tuition fee must be submitted before the beginning of the lecture period, i.e. for summer semester 2024 until 15 April 2024.
An application for an exemption does not release you from your payment obligations.
Please submit your application for an exemption as early as possible, so that a decision on the exemption can be made by the start of summer semester 2024 on 1 April 2024 (up to six weeks processing time). Otherwise you will have to pay the tuition fee in order to be enrolled in time for summer semester 2024 (1 April 2024 until 30 September 2024). In the case of the exemption, the fee will be refunded.
b) Forms and applications for a second degree
