• Formular über Berufstätigkeit (DE) (This employment verification form is an addendum to the "Information Form for International Students".)

According to Landeshochschulgebührengesetz (Act on Fees in Higher Education of the Land of Baden-Württemberg), the information forms for international students must be submitted by the end of the re-registration period (September 30 for the winter semester and March 31 for the summer semester). For an initial or new enrollment, the information forms for international students must be submitted by the enrollment deadline. The enrollment deadline is specified in the admission letter for study programs with restricted admission; for programs with non-restricted admission, the enrollment deadline is September 30 for the winter semester and March 31 for the summer semester.

• Application for exemption from the tuition fee as a holder of a permission to reside according to § 55 paragraph (1) Asylgesetz (New country for the winter semester 2025/2026)
• Application for exemption from the tuition fee due to a medical internship/ other internship
• Application for exemption from the tuition fee due to disability
• Application for an exemption from the tuition fee because of a leave of absence (Attention: A tuition fee exemption because of a leave of absence is only possible, if there's a reason for a leave of absence, your application for a leave of absence is approved and was received by Student Administration before the beginning of the lecture period.)

According to Landeshochschulgebührengesetz applications for an exemption from the tuition fee must be submitted before the beginning of the lecture period, i.e. for winter semester 2026/2027 until 12 October 2026.   

An application for an exemption does not release you from your payment obligations.

Please submit your application for an exemption as early as possible, so that a decision on the exemption can be made by the start of winter semester 2026/2027 (up to six weeks processing time). Otherwise you will have to pay the tuition fee in order to be enrolled in time for winter semester 2026/2027 (1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027).

• Tuition fee waiver: Please note that all semester fees and tuition fees must be paid in order to enroll or re-enroll. Tuition fee waivers are only possible in a few legally regulated cases. If such a case applies to you, please contact the Tuition Fees Office:
