The goal of the FET-Programme is the long-term implementation of visionary approaches to technology.  Complementary program lines, interdisciplinary research networks as well as coordination and support measures are intended to initiate high-risk basic research in order to create the knowledge base for future new technologies.

FET-Programme lines:

• FET Open:          
  Open, short-term format for a wide audience. Paving the way for radically new future technologies.
• FET Proactive:  
  Nurtures emerging themes, seeking to establish a critical mass of European researchers in a number of promising exploratory research topics. This supports areas that are not yet ready for inclusion in industry research roadmaps, with the aim of building up and structuring new interdisciplinary research communities.
• FET Flagships:   
  Visionary, research-driven interdisciplinary large-scale research projects for major scientific and technological challenges.
  Implementation is based on an ambitious and long-term research agenda and the combination of excellent scientists. To date, the following flagships exist:
  • Human Brain
  • Graphene
  • Quantum technology

Open calls and access to online applications to online submission

1. Go to "H2020" in the left menu bar and then narrow down your search in the left-hand selection field. The corresponding open calls will then be displayed.
2. To apply, click directly on the title of the call. Scroll down until you reach the "Start Submission" button.
