Tuebingen has a variety of old museums and collections. One of them is the Paleontologic Collection of Tuebingen University. It was founded in the 18th century and its main goal is to give researchers, as well as the public an understanding of our geological past. The collection presents unique and spectactular skeletons and fossils of rehistoric animals and plants. The guided tour reveals interesting details on various exhibits, as well as the collection as a whole.
