Leadership Qualification Program

Have you taken up a professorship at the university in recent months? With this step, in addition to research and teaching, the management of a team - increasingly also at a distance -, personnel selection, dealing with conflicts and your own strategic positioning are now part of your new range of tasks. The University of Tübingen would like to support you in these challenging tasks from the very beginning.

The specially designed leadership qualification program is intended to support first-time professors in creating efficient work structures and using established leadership tools to successfully manage their daily work as leaders in the academic environment.

The workshop series consists of a total of six modules, three of which are compulsory. The opening and the final seminars take place as one-day face-to-face events. In addition, four optional topic-specific modules are offered as half-day online events. In order to complete the program successfully, at least one module should be taken as an option in addition to the mandatory modules.

Since the program uses interactive-involving methods, your individual questions can be included.

If necessary, seminars will be held in English. Please let us know your preference regarding the language when you register.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us at any time.

You can register for the program via ILIAS. After successful admission to the course, you can then register independently for the individual modules.
