The hike will take place around Honau and Lichtenstein, covering about 15 km. This route is considered easy to moderate.
We'll begin in the Unterhausen area, passing several natural viewing spots and nature reserves before reaching Ruine Alter Lichtenstein, a historic landmark where we'll take our first break. From there, we'll hike to Lichtenstein Castle, where we will have our lunch break. Entering the castle is optional and can be done during the lunch break (note: entry fees are €4 for the castle courtyard and €12 for a tour of the castle interiors, which participants will need to cover).
After lunch and the optional castle visit, we'll take a different path, visiting attractions such as the Echazquelle spring before reaching our final destination and taking the bus and train back to Tübingen.
