The TIME team firmly believes that excellent healthcare can only be achieved if it is built on outstanding medical education and training. Under the leadership of Professor Anne Herrmann-Werner and her team, TIME is continuously working, developing, and conducting research on how to deliver high-quality, evidence-based medical education.
To this end, the four divisions at TIME—Teach, Train, Research, and the Innovation Hub—collaborate closely with representatives of the student body, faculty, and patients to sustain and further strengthen the outstanding role of Tübingen’s Medical Faculty at the national and international level in medical education and training.
Alumni taking part in the tour will have the opportunity to see the SIMON simulation ambulance and the SINA simulation A&E department in action. In addition, you can try performing a cricothyroidotomy and taking a medical history for vertigo in a VR scenario. You’ll get to know TIME’s social robots, gain an insight into how students can practice taking medical histories using AI, and discover methods and equipment used in state-of-the-art medical training across a wide range of disciplines.
Following the tour, the Medical Faculty invites you to a champagne reception. Participation is free of charge. We greatly appreciate donations to the Medical Students’ Association in support of the Long Night of Skills at TIME. The Long Night of Skills takes place every two years in the summer and is an event that gives students and lecturers the opportunity to network across semesters and degree programs. It thrives on the commitment of the lecturers and the curiosity of the students. Your donation will benefit students at the Faculty of Medicine.
