European Research Council (ERC)
Description
The European Research Council funds excellent scientists and their outstanding project ideas. The programme is open to all nationalities and fields of research. The calls for the maximum five year-long projects are published yearly.
ERC-Formats
Starting Grant: | 2-7 years after having finished the first PhD, max. 1,5 Million EUR |
Consolidator Grant: | 7-12 years after having finished the first PhD, max. 2 Million EUR |
Advanced Grant: | > 12 years after having finished the first PhD, max. 2,5 Million EUR |
Synergy Grant: | 2-4 Principal Investigators, max. 6 years, 6-10 Million EUR |
Proof of Concept: | Connection format based on a previously acquired ERC grant as a bridge to innovation. |
Open calls and access to online submission

- To apply, click directly on the title of the call. Scroll down until you reach the "Start Submission" button.
