Safe, clean and efficient energy

Description

Europe wants to move towards a global climate-neutral economy. The challenges include energy efficiency, carbon reduction in buildings, and the development of renewable energy and its storage. It also focuses on consumers, so that social and cultural aspects as well as opportunities for participation through digitization play a role.

Throughout the various energy sectors, activities in research, demonstration and innovation will be carried out right through to market launch. Tenders are mainly assigned to the following topics:

  1. Energy efficiency
  2. Global leadership in the renewable energy sector
  3. Smart and clean energy for consumers
  4. Intelligent citizen-centered energy systems
  5. Smart cities and communities
  6. Development of quasi emission-free fossil power plants
  7. Cross-sectional aspects, including from a social and humanistic perspective

Funding schemes:
