10 years of Tigers Career Day

The anniversary of the career fair in the Paul Horn Arena on May 16, 2024 was very popular and a complete success.

Among the almost 100 exhibitors, 30 social initiatives were represented alongside commercial enterprises. On the university side, TRACS, the Alumni Office, the StartUp Center and numerous student groups took part.

The career fair, which takes place annually in cooperation with the Tübingen Tigers and the Career Service of the University of Tübingen, offered students a wide range of opportunities in a sporty atmosphere. Visitors had the opportunity to talk to the exhibitors about internships, working student activities, volunteering and direct entry.

As part of the supporting program, Tristan Horx (Zukunftsinstitut) gave a presentation on the job market of the future. There was also a panel discussion with alumni on the transition from studying to working life, a talk on professional applications and a live hacking session. The free offers at the fair included advice and coaching on starting a career, application portfolio checks, elevator pitches (feedback on personal appearance), application photo shoots as well as pizza, crêpes, soft ice cream and drinks.

The career fair once again offered students of all subjects an inspiring and informative platform for career orientation and career entry.
