2024 Science & Innovation Days: Focus on scientific uncertainties
At the 2024 Science & Innovation Days, there were three exciting events with TRACS participation that dealt with the topic of scientific uncertainties and their communication to the public.
As part of the 2024 Science & Innovation Days, a total of three events took place on 15 and 16 November, organised by TRACS, Global Awareness Education:
At the stand at the Science Fair, visitors were able to explore hazard maps while their eye movements were monitored with an eye-tracking device.
In the World Café, participants were able to engage in an interactive discussion with experts and discuss the challenge of uncertainties in data and its communication.
Finally, there was a panel discussion in the upper halls of the museum society. Here, the exchange on the interpretation and presentation of uncertainties was deepened.
