Students Write Entries Which Celebrate Female Solidarity in Literature

A seminar about female authors and solidarity invited its students to write celebratory texts about an author whose work they have enjoyed recently.

In the winter semester of 2023/24, the seminar Female Solidarity in Literature and Beyond took place, allowing students to familiarize themselves with the discriminatory realities that female authors face, and proposing ways in which they can support said authors and show solidarity towards. The seminar, hosted by Isabel-María Osuna-Montilla and Charoula Fotiadou, invited students to write a final text, celebrating a female author who they have loved recently. The results were extensive entries of various authors whose books you can add to your To-Be-Read list!
