Knowledge Media Research Center (IKM)
The Knowledge Media Research Center (IKM) consists of two areas:

IT Center (ZDV) Director
The objectives and tasks of the IKM are in particular:
- the supervision and development of digital information processing and communication technology at the University (cooperative supply system);
- the supervision and development of the University's media technology equipment;
- the planning of a balanced use of all resources of the facilities assigned to the IKM;
- coordination and leadership in the preparation of a University development plan for information, communication and multimedia;
- the planning of the structural and personnel development of the IKM.
The IKM is a central unit whose management reports directly to the President’s Office.
Among the IKM’s current projects are the Digital Humanities Center and the Electronic Learning Portal (ELP).
