Erasmus+ within Europa

Conditions of participation
  • Enrollment at the University of Tübingen
  • For Bachelor students: At least one completed academic year before the start of the stay abroad
  • Good knowledge of the language (from level B1) in which the courses to be attended are held
  • If possible, basic knowledge of the local language (if not the language of instruction)

 

Duration of stay
  • Semester stays with Erasmus+ are possible for a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 12 months
  • Short-term stays are possible for a period of at least 5 to 30 days
  • Stays of up to a maximum of 12 months are possible in each study phase (Bachelor, Master and PhD). Several Erasmus+ stays during the same study phase are also possible
  • Students on single-cycle courses (e.g. state examination courses) may complete a total of up to 24 months abroad (for each individual mobility, the minimum duration is 2 months and the maximum 12 months)

Experiences of Tübingen students abroad

The language and my love of the mountains drew me to Grenoble. It was a semester abroad filled with valuable university experiences, new friendships and nature adventures. I came back more relaxed, open-minded and self-confident.

For me, the CIVIS BIPs represent both professional development and intercultural exchange. They complemented my geography studies in the fields of geology, volcanism and touristscapes. The collaboration between lecturers and students from all over Europe creates a sense of European togetherness that lasts long after the end of each module, making the idea of 'Europe' really tangible.
