As part of the CIVIS Alliance, to which the University of Tübingen belongs, students can take part in Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) several times a year. The Erasmus+ short-term program consists of online courses together with a one-week study visit to one of the CIVIS partner universities.
In order to participate in a BIP program and qualify for an Erasmus+ scholarship, the following conditions apply:
Regularly enrolled at the University of Tübingen during the application phase, as well as during the entire BIP program period (virtual and physical phase)*
You are aiming for a degree at the University of Tübingen. Unfortunately, you cannot participate as an exchange student
You may not participate in another student program abroad at the same time
You may not receive other scholarships such as Erasmus+, DAAD scholarship, BW scholarship, PROMOS etc. at the same time
You must participate in both parts of the program, virtual and physical
If you have been selected for 2 BIPs, the physical phases must not overlap and must not be adjacent in time.
You must achieve at least 3-6 ECTS in the BIP course, but not have them credited
Participation is also possible without claiming the mobility grant (as a so-called 'zero-grant student'), provided that the valid Erasmus+ conditions are met. Erasmus+ students at the University of Tübingen (including zero-grant students) are not eligible for the Baden-Württemberg Scholarship
* Non-matriculated doctoral students may participate if they can provide alternative proof of university affiliation.
