Proof required for the application to the academic programme

Mandatory supplements per application:

• certificate of general higher education entrance qualification (Allgemeine Hochschulreife) or comparable university entrance qualification

or

• if you have passed the "Deltaprüfung" test at the University of Mannheim: certificate of the higher education entrance qualification permitting students to study at a university of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) or subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (fachgebundene Hochschulreife) and certificate of the passed "Deltaprüfung" test

If applicable to you, please submit the following evidence per subject: 

• current proof of completed service/caregiver leave:
  • If the service has already been completed at the time of application, we require a certificate of completion of the service, dated after the completion of the service (and not only referring to the start).
  • If the service has not been fully completed at the time of application, the certificate must not be older than December (if applying for the summer semester) or June (if applying for the winter semester).

• letter of admission from the University of Tübingen for previous semesters

• proof of any existing apprenticeship and/or practical work experience, which may be specific to the degree programme and which provides information about the suitability for the degree programme

• proof of scientific prizes, such as "Jugend forscht". Participation in olympiads which may be specific to the degree programme

• language certificate (e.g. TOEFL)
• Data supplement sheets for the Bachelor degrees Japanese Studies B.A., Media Informatics B.Sc.

If applicable to you, please submit the following evidence per subject:

• sports entrance test

• form for an „application in the public interest“ within the framework of the advance selection quota of § 6, Abs. 1, Nr. 4 of the University Admissions Act (Act on Higher Education Admission of the Land Baden-Württemberg [Hochschulzulassungsgesetz HZG]) – so called „Spitzensportler“ (top athletes). Please note separate proofs here!

• application for a specific reason for consideration in the allocation of study places within the quota for cases of exceptional case hardship, disadvantage compensation, shortening of waiting time - so called "Härtefallantrag" (applicaton for exceptional case hardship), including justification. Please note the separate evidence here! 

• second degree: proof of completed first degree course (two copies)
