Universität Tübingen begrüßt ihre Ehemaligen

Zum Alumni-Tag kamen zahlreiche Ehemalige an ihre Alma Mater

„Es ist schön, dass die Universität Tübingen sich so um ihre Ehemaligen bemüht“, sagte Alumna Professor Dr. Chariya Brockelman. Bereits im Juli kamen zahlreiche Alumni zum mittlerweile traditionell gewordenen Alumni-Tag an ihre Alma Mater zurück. Ein spannendes und abwechslungsreiches Programm erwartete die Ehemaligen:

Führungen durch den Botanischen Garten, die Sonderausstellung „Wie Schönes Wissen schafft“ des Museum der Universität Tübingen (MUT) und durch die Paläontologische Sammlung, Vorträge wie „Observatorium und Weltraummissionen“ von Dr. Thorsten Nagel und Dr. Jan-Christoph Tenzer oder „Die Weltchronik des Johannes Malalas“ von Professor Dr. Mischa Meier. Außerdem hatten die Ehemaligen die Gelegenheit, die Klinische Anatomie, das neue Gesundheitszentrum oder das Zentrum für Islamische Theologie näher kennen zu lernen.

Dadurch konnten die Alumni einen exklusiven Einblick hinter die Kulissen der Universität Tübingen werfen. „Besonders interessant war für mich die Zentrale Promotionsfeier “, sagte Chariya Brockelman, die extra aus Thailand angereist war um gemeinsam mit einer Freundin ihre Alma Mater zu besuchen. „Ich freue mich auch über den Newsletter, so können wir Alumni mit unserer Hochschule verbunden bleiben.“

Natürlich haben die Ehemaligen auch im nächsten Jahr wieder die Gelegenheit, ihre Universität zu besuchen: Der Alumni-Tag findet 2014 am Samstag, 12. Juli, statt.
