E-ADAPT

The guiding principle for the joint project E-ADAPT (funded by the BMBF and the Swiss Jacobs Foundation) is the ideal of adaptive school teaching, which supports all learners equally in realising their full potential and is already increasingly becoming a reality in countries such as Estonia and Finland. The use of digital and interactive tools is important in this type of teaching and learning in order to organise and guarantee individual support for pupils. The aims of the project, led by the universities of Tübingen, Heidelberg and Potsdam, are to develop standards of excellence for cooperation between science and education administration, to establish a European research network on adaptive teaching and to engage in intensive dialogue with politicians and interested members of the public via digital channels and in town hall meetings.

The Centre for Media Literacy documents on film the progress and developments in all the countries involved in the project, so far in the Netherlands, England, Finland, Estonia and Switzerland.
