The first step is to find a supervisor at the University of Tuebingen. You can contact a professor at the University of Tübingen or you apply for one of the vacant doctoral positions.
Once you have found a supervisor, the second step is to submit your application for admission at the PhD offices of the concerned faculty.
You can find further details and information - especially about these first two steps - at the Graduate Academy.
In a third and final step you may enroll, but only after you have been accepted by the PhD offices.
In order to enroll please submit the required documents either by post or by e-mail to the Studierendensekretariat/Student Administration.
As soon as your application has been processed you will receive an e-mail containing your matriculation number and the account number to which you have to pay the semester fee. After receipt of payment you will receive your student ID-card and your central access data by e-mail.
For further information, see also here.
As of March 30, 2018, doctoral students must enroll in accordance with § 38 Abs. of the Landeshochschulgesetzes (LHG) after they have been accepted as a doctoral student at their faculty.
